I fell into the 40s and ended Season 1 with a high of 49. Like many players at that level, I refused to accept what the game was telling me, that I was mediocre at best.
So like a terrible anime protagonist, I decided to prove that regardless of age, gender and current mechanical skill, it's possible for a newbie to competitive FPS games to reach Season 2's Diamond tier.
After reading meta reports, watching videos of pro gameplay and reading advice on the Overwatch forums, I came to a simple conclusion: A lot of it simply can't apply to gameplay at lower ranks.
So rather than fixate on pro-level metas that other average players rarely follow, this blog will analyse meta, scoring mechanics and analysis of gameplay videos relevant to playing at — and climbing out — of Overwatch's 50th percentile. All written for the average player, by an average player.

Hello Xedi
ReplyDeleteI just want to thank you for all your sharing. Especially, I am a Lucio player too. Your blog is helping me a lot. Is there any VOD of good/professional Lucio player you suggest to watch or stream I can follow?
Many thanks again!!
Hi there, sorry for taking so long to answer, am currently travelling. Unfortunately I've noticed that there aren't many pro Lucio players that stream. Two that I know of that do play supports while streaming are Grego at https://www.twitch.tv/gregomyeggolive and Sneakii at https://www.twitch.tv/sneakiiii
